    Dear Member,

    PCR TESTS FOR OUTGOING TRAVELLERS

We are in receipt of several enquiries from members regarding some recent news reports carried in the Media to the effect that ALL outgoing travellers require to present a PCR Negative Certificate. The revised rules are allegedly attributed to the Tourism and Wildlife CS statement in the amended Tourism and Hospitality Health and Safety  Protocols.

We wish to clarify that the current regulations require all passengers coming to Kenya to be in possession of a valid COVID-19 negative PCR test certificate conducted within 96  hours before travel.

The PCR requirements for outgoing travellers areas are contained in the attached KCAA  Circular of 8th June 2021 which indicates that passengers travelling out of the country will be required to abide by the particular travel, health and COVID-19 related requirements of the destination country

Members are urged to familiarize themselves with the destination requirements which differ from country to country and are usually communicated by the Airlines at the time of booking travel.

    Kind Regards,

    Fred Kaigua, ACIArb, CPM
