Company Bio: Special interest safari operator Origins has been based in East Africa since 1962. It aims to bring something special to the total experience. The company began as a specialist birding and natural history tour operator and remains the market leader in this region. Today, Origins offers a broad range of special interest safaris throughout East and Central Africa. One of its key strengths is that Origins is a family business with a hands-on approach to managing each trip. It employs first-rate guides, all of whom are personally trained by Steve or Don Turner, to ensure that guiding is informed, sensitive and interpretative. Every guide is a member of the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association and must hold a formal qualification in natural history, ornithology, anthropology or photography.
