Company Bio: Balloon Safaris Ltd pioneered safari ballooning in Africa and made its inaugural flight in 1976 from the Masai Mara’s Keekorok Lodge. The company has since flown thousands of passengers. The balloons stand as high as a 10-storey building and measure about 30 metres across at their equator with a volume of up to 12,000 cubic metres. Balloon Safaris Ltd provides a pick-up and drop-off service for clients staying at Mara Simba, Mara Sopa, Mara Sarova, Mara Intrepids, Mara Hippo, Siana Springs, Acacia Camp, Sekenani Camp, Base Camp and Mountain Rock Camp as well as all other campsites in the Eastern Mara.
