| | For more than forty years, Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has been internationally recognised as the first name in luxury adventure travel. We have been operating safaris since 1962 and our first tented safaris in Kenya showed guests the wonders of African wildlife close-up, while providing a standard of hospitality that was then unheard of in the bush. Since then, A&K has grown to over 40 offices worldwide, with 6 offices in East Africa. A&K Kenya offices are ground operating offices, with a team of experienced tours staff, airport representatives, drivers, guides, camping crews and a fleet of specialized safari equipped vehicles including minibuses and 4WD Land Cruisers, with HF radios. All guests are met on arrival in Kenya by uniformed Customer Services staff who are available 24 hours a day, and are in constant contact with safaris. Carefully planned itineraries are led by multilingual driver guides or tour escorts, with an intimate knowledge of animal behaviour, flora and fauna, culture and geography. Our driver guides undergo regular in-house training and we have an in-house Quality Control team who carry out continuous checks on all services provided to our customers – this guarantees the quality that defines the A&K Travel experience. Independent Travel has been an Abercrombie & Kent speciality since its founding - with tailor made independent programs, the possibilities are endless. We also specialize in family holidays, active safaris and we offer Tour Series Groups and safaris for Incentive & special interest groups, where we can offer insider access to specialists in numerous fields - culture, wildlife, photography and more. A strong commitment to local ecological, cultural and economic concerns guides A&K's operations throughout East Africa. Abercrombie and Kent Global Foundation (A&KGF) is a charitable division of A&K. The foundation promotes wildlife research and conservation as well as community education and historical monument preservation. |
